Im Woo-il of ‘Nidon Naesan: Dokbak Tour 4’ burst into tears after being saddled with a 1.05 million won dining bill.
Episode 32 of Channel S’s ‘Nidon Naesan: Dokbak Tour 4’ (co-produced by Channel S and SK Broadband), which aired on the 17th, showed Kim Dae-hee x Kim Jun-ho x Jang Dong-min x Yoo Se-yoon x Hong In-gyu enjoying Kuala Lumpur’s landmark ‘Sky Restaurant’ with 2026’s first ‘travel friend,’ Im Woo-il. Also, after the ‘Monkey Village’ tour, Hong In-gyu, confirmed as the ‘most frequent sole payer,’ flawlessly carried out his penalties: dressing up as ‘Banana Man’ and doing a mukbang of the local special stamina dish ‘Uhwan’ (bull testicles), showcasing his unwavering ‘dokbak spirit’ to ring in the new year.

That day, Yoo Se-yoon said, “Since Woo-il is heading back to Korea first, and it’s our last dinner, I booked a fancy restaurant,” guiding them to the ‘Sky Restaurant.’ Hearing that the cost was about 140,000 won per person, the ‘thrift king’ Im Woo-il grew tense, saying, “For a place this expensive, shouldn’t you have discussed it with me beforehand? I might be the one picked.” Hong In-gyu also worried, “With the six of us that’s at least 840,000 wonabout two months of Woo-il’s food budget.” When the ‘Dokbakz’ arrived at the ‘Sky Restaurant’ and learned that a giant crane lifts the ‘mobile dining space’ roughly 45 meters into the air, their jaws dropped. They then took their assigned seats and fastened their safety belts. As the restaurant slowly rose into the sky, Im Woo-il joked, “Even if I die here, it’ll be an honor. To be able to go together with the seniors I respect…,” leaving ‘last words’ that made everyone burst into laughter.
At last, a gourmet course was served in the sky, and the ‘Dokbakz,’ who hurriedly ordered wine and drank straight from the bottle, conquered their fear of heights and polished off every dish. The ‘newlywed’ Kim Jun-ho, ever the romantic, video-called Kim Ji-min and boasted the view from the ‘Sky Restaurant,’ saying, “Jimin, I’ll show you the heart of a man.” He then shouted, “A toast to your eyes!” to show his affection. After their nerve-racking meal, they decided to determine who would pay the 1.05 million won bill with a fateful spin-the-wheel game. There, just before flying back to Korea, Im Woo-il became the sole payer, plunging the scene into chaos. He wailed, “The 300,000 won king crab dish I recently bought for my mother was the biggest dining expense of my lifehow does this make sense?” Kim Jun-ho ‘self-reported’ (?), saying, “Sorry. I think I added three more bottles of wine earlier, so the bill probably went up,” making everyone roar with laughter.
After Im Woo-il left, the ‘Dokbakz’ headed out on the ‘Sky Mirror’ tour the next morning. ‘Sasaran Beach,’ known as the Uyuni Salt Flats of the East, is a tourist hotspot where a thin layer of water perfectly reflects the sky for special life-shot photos like a ‘sky mirror.’ Hong In-gyu said, “I want to take a ‘Dokbakz’ group photo here to welcome 2026.” Right after, the ‘Dokbakz’ got in their rental car and played a game for the car fee: “Bend a cotton swab with your mouth and put it in your nose,” where Kim Jun-ho came in last. Shortly after arriving at the pier to ‘Sasaran Beach,’ the ‘Dokbakz’ boarded a boat and played a dokbak game with the ‘Sky Mirror tour fee’ at stake. In the memory-based ‘River Across River’ game, Kim Dae-hee attempted extreme skinship, including a peck on the butt and even licking the cheek of the person next to him to toss amylase. Appalled, Jang Dong-min ultimately tried skinship on Kim Jun-ho, had a ‘mental breakdown,’ and became the sole payer. Jang added with a twist, “Honestly, rather than lick Jun-ho’s face with my tongue, I’d just pay,” drawing even more laughter.
Then, suddenly, the rain intensified and strong winds blew. A tour staffer informed them, “It looks like we won’t be able to do the tour due to worsening weather.” Unable to take the ‘Sky Mirror’ tour, the ‘Dokbakz’ ate nearby and moved on to ‘Malawati Hill,’ famous as a ‘monkey village.’ Hong In-gyu said, “Se-yoon and I were born in the Year of the Monkey, so we want to receive good energy there,” expressing his hope to avoid becoming the ‘most frequent sole payer.’ Arriving at the ‘monkey village,’ the ‘Dokbakz’ bonded with monkeys by handing out bananas and peanuts. They decided that those chosen first by the monkeys when fed would be exempt from paying in order. There, Hong In-gyu finished last again and was confirmed as the ‘most frequent sole payer.’
“It feels like this rain falling now is my tears,” said Hong In-gyu as he began his ‘banana costume.’ Back on their 2024 Malaysia trip, Hong transformed into ‘Banana Man’ and took the locals by storm (?), and now, two years later, he presented ‘Banana Man Returns.’ He also carried out an extra penalty of eating a local special stamina dish, completing the challenge of eating ‘Uhwan,’ the bull’s testicles, with his eyes tightly shut. Grimacing, he wrapped up the Malaysia trip with a candid take: “It tastes similar to beef knuckle soup.”
Shouting, “Even if it’s pricey, as long as it’s not me!,” the ‘Dokbakz’s’ chaotic trip continues in episode 34 of Channel S’s ‘Nidon Naesan: Dokbak Tour 4,’ airing at 9 p.m. on Saturday the 24th.
