Singer and reporter Park Gun addressed the divorce rumors with Han Young.

On the broadcast of the SBS variety show “My Little Old Boy” (hereinafter ‘MLOB’) on the 18th, updates were shared on Park Gun, who had pitched a tent and was living alone in Goesan, North Chungcheong Province. Since marrying his wife Han Young, he had been swept up in rumors of going off the grid, living separately, and divorce.

That day, Lee Sang-min and Im Won-hee visited the container house where Park Gun was staying and relayed what was going on outside. Park Gun explained, “There had been all sorts of rumors. When I do reporter work in the provinces, I have to be away for two days, and since it takes a long time to get home, I set up a place to stay in between.”

Lee Sang-min said, “Even Kim Jong-min makes sure to stop by Seoul when he has events in the provinces,” but Park Gun replied, “They are newlyweds.” When Im Won-hee asked, “After four years, is it not the time to pop in just to see her face for a moment?” Park Gun asked back, “At how many years did you get divorced?” Caught off guard, he answered, “At the two-year mark,” prompting laughter.

Park Gun said, “It feels like I have been married for about 40 years. That is how comfortable and good my wife is,” and added, “Because of trying for a baby, my wife went to the hospital for nearly two years. It is extremely hard. Because of that she can be sensitive, and even aside from that, she is extremely sensitive.”

He continued, “She reacts even to small sounds. When I mentioned that, people started saying we had no physical affection,” and added, “Even these days, when I get home, she hugs me saying, ‘Honey, you are home.’” Park Gun shared his KakaoTalk conversation with Han Young, and when asked when their last kiss was, he answered, “Two days ago.”

Seizing the moment, Lee Sang-min and Im Won-hee also tried connecting with Han Young by phone. Han Young said, “I did not know, and then someone left a comment telling us not to get divorced and to live well, so I belatedly learned it was fake news,” adding, “We truly do not have any problem at all. If a married couple does not even bicker and adjust to each other, are they not just strangers? He just seems to have a lot on his mind by himself.”
