TVING Original ‘Show Me The Money 12: Yacha’s World’
The TVING Original ‘Show Me The Money 12: Yacha’s World’ exploded dopamine from the outset with exhilarating, standout battles.
On the 17th, Episode 1 of the TVING Original ‘Show Me The Money 12: Yacha’s World’ (hereinafter ‘Yacha’s World’) was released to an enthusiastic response.
Rappers’ strategic feel-out to seize their last chance to return to ‘Show Me The Money 12’ was fierce, and the limitless, rule-free rap battles fought by their own rules delivered thrills on another level. Above all, the parallel-world structurewhere only three final survivors of ‘Yacha’s World’ earn the right to return to ‘Show Me The Money 12’brought excitement beyond the evolution of hip-hop survival and set the internet ablaze. During the first weekend after the first episode of ‘Yacha’s World’ dropped, ‘Show Me The Money 12’ and ‘Yacha’s World’ took the No. 1 spot in TVING paid-subscription contribution.
The 12 who entered ‘Yacha’s World’those chosen by ‘Show Me The Money 12’ producers ZICO·Crush, GRAY·Loco, J-Tong·Hukky Shibaseki, and Lil Moshpit·Jay Parkare Doriko, Hippie Kunda, Cambo, Toastboy, CocoK, Woo Hee-won, Orozi, M1NU, SUEN, Ash-B, Untell, and Crucial Star. The way to survive on the final rap battleground is to seize necklaces through rap battles.
The rule granting the three survivors the right to return to ‘Show Me The Money 12’ stoked the competitive fire of rappers who had tasted elimination in the first prelims. They said, “Now this is survival,” “If the rule is that there are no rules, this really is my world,” and “I’ll become a lion,” ramping up their offensive index for survival.
With resurrection to ‘Show Me The Money 12’ on the line, even the early feel-out was taut. After a breathless war of nerves over the battle format, the first clash materialized as a three-person cypher among Untell, Ash-B, and Toastboy. Untell’s plan to eliminate Ash-B early, whose opinions kept clashing, worked. Untell took Ash-B’s necklace, making Ash-B the first elimination in ‘Yacha’s World’.
Riding the momentum, Untell set his sights on three necklaces and relentlessly sought opponents. With M1NU, Hippie Kunda, and Woo Hee-won joining, a quickly arranged four-person cypher battle heated up the scene. In a clash too close to call, the masters lavished praise, saying, “I can’t pick just one,” “I really can’t decide,” “It is hard. It comes down to taste,” and “This vote was really tough.” In the vote, Untell and Woo Hee-won defeated M1NU and Hippie Kunda.
After the merciless eliminations of Ash-B, M1NU, and Hippie Kunda, the remaining rappers moved strategically to battle opponents they were more likely to beat. Doriko’s ‘pick’ was SUEN, whose lack of available info made it impossible to read his strength. As Doriko kept pushing for a 1:1 battle, SUEN countered by proposing a multi-person cypher. Contrary to Doriko’s plan, a four-person cypher with Cambo and Crucial Star joining drew everyone’s attention. With the resolve of “I want to get back up there just once more,” “I’ll give it my all,” “I’ll burn everything I have,” and “I’ll kill them all,” Doriko, Crucial Star, SUEN, and Cambo stepped into the battle. Curiosity mounts over who will emerge as the winner of the third battle, as the masters lamented, “This kid shouldn’t be going out now,” and “Does this even make sense?”
Meanwhile, Episode 2 of the TVING Original ‘Show Me The Money 12: Yacha’s World’ will be released at 12 p.m. on the 24th (Sat).
