DK X SEUNGKWAN of the idol group Seventeen warmly colored a winter night together with fans.
DK X SEUNGKWAN held the fan party “Live In Blue” on the 18th at CG Art Hall in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, to commemorate the release of their first mini album “Serenade.” The two filled just over two hours with a variety of talk segments and rich live stages, captivating fans eyes and ears.
The fan party was arranged in the style of a live performance unfolding at a jazz bar. DK X SEUNGKWAN offered brief renditions set to piano accompaniment of the title track “Blue” and the track “Guilty Pleasure,” as well as “Rockstar (DK Solo),” “Silence,” “Dream Serenade (SEUNGKWAN Solo),” and “Prelude of love” from the new release. Even though they sang only portions of the songs, their vocal prowess befitting the reputation of ‘Meboz’ stood out.
They also swapped and performed the solo songs of the other member on the spot, showcasing distinct vocal colors. Fans responded with explosive cheers to the pair, who delivered flawless singing even a cappella. A striking moment also unfolded as the “Blue” vocal challenge, which has recently drawn buzz online, was completed with CARAT (the fandom name) providing a mass singalong harmony.

Thank you for making joyful memories,” and added, “We still have a lot of content left to show.” Even after completing all the scheduled stages, the two moved through the audience to present an encore of “Guilty Pleasure,” keeping the venue heated to the very end. Their exceptional love for fans was evident as they made close eye contact with each and every audience member.
Since releasing their first mini album “Serenade” on the 12th, DK X SEUNGKWAN have been gaining popularity with the title track “Blue.” The song showed an upward trajectory on YouTube Korea “Trending Music,” and finally claimed No. 1 the previous day (the 18th). On social media, a duet challenge that lets users harmonize with DK and SEUNGKWAN is trending. Thanks to this, “Blue” achieved an unusual feat for a ballad by also reaching No. 1 on Instagram “Trending Audio.”
On the 19th, the duo will keep the momentum going by additionally releasing an epilogue version music video for “Blue.” Their variety show activities will also continue. On the 22nd, DK will appear as a guest on the web variety show “Boo Seungkwan Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo,” hosted by SEUNGKWAN, to showcase their cheerful chemistry. On the 23rd, the web variety show “Hyeol’s Club,” featuring DK, will be released.
