Pearl Abyss announced on the 22nd that the open-world action-adventure game ‘Crimson Desert’ has entered the ‘Gone Gold’ stage, in which a master package containing the release version is produced.
Going gold refers to the process of producing the master package that contains the release version, signaling entry into the final launch phase.
Pearl Abyss expressed its gratitude via its official social media channels, stating, “Thanks to fans around the world who have been with Crimson Desert, we are taking the final step toward launch” and “On March 20, we will be waiting for you on the continent of Pywel.”
‘Crimson Desert’ has participated in major global game shows, including G-Star, The Game Awards (TGA), the Game Developers Conference (GDC), Summer Game Fest (SGF), Gamescom, and Tokyo Game Show (TGS), meeting gamers around the world.
Crimson Desert is an open-world action-adventure game set on the vast continent of Pywel, following the journey of the protagonist ‘Cliff’ and his companions. It features the freedom and interactivity of a vast open world built with the in-house ‘Blackspace Engine’, realistic high-quality graphics, and dynamic action and combat.
Pearl Abyss will launch ‘Crimson Desert’ worldwide for PC and console platforms on March 20 (Korea time).
