Blizzard Entertainment announced that on the 22nd Korea time, it applied a content update for the next expansion ‘Midnight’(Midnight) of ‘World of Warcraft’, ahead of its March release.

Starting with this update, the game shifts to the ‘World of Warcraft’ 12.0 expansion version, enabling players to experience some of the content and systems of the anticipated next expansion in advance.

First, housing is further expanded. The optional participation settlement activity Endeavors is newly added, allowing players to earn more housing decorations and housing experience. Players can also obtain new outdoor housing themes based on Night Elf and Blood Elf culture.

A new Demon Hunter specialization, Devourer, is also added. The new mid range damage dealing specialization Devourer is characterized by instantaneous shifts between offense and defense, using the power of the Void to confront threats targeting Azeroth. New Demon Hunter class and race combinations such as Void Elf Demon Hunter can also be unlocked.

In addition, stats and item levels are compressed so that numeric values can be reasonably adjusted while maintaining the same combat power. The user interface also offers various features, including powerful new functions, improved customization options, clearer raid frames, display scaling, and control adjustments.

On the 29th, the in-game event Twilight Ascension begins, requiring players to defeat Void forces that appear randomly around the world. During this event, the Mysterious Winds of Fortune buff returns, increasing experience gains for levels 10 to 79.
