An Yujin of IVE, a coming-soon film full of ethereal charm

The girl group IVE (IVE: An Yujin, Gaeul, Rei, Jang Wonyoung, Liz, Leeseo) completed the puzzle of its coming-soon videos by releasing a video featuring leader An Yujin.

The agency Starship Entertainment on the 23rd unveiled the new album coming-soon film ‘An Yujin version’ through IVE official social media channels.

In the video, An Yujin opens by spending a languid everyday moment in her room. Lying on a blue grass mat and blowing bubble gum, or relaxing in a room filled with sunlight while dressed in a white knit, evokes the feel of a youth film. Her clear, deep gaze into the camera from atop a blue blanket, together with her delicate visuals, conjures the signature dreamy mood of An Yujin and captivates viewers.

However, the tranquil mood is upended by the piercing alarm from the digital clock on the table. The digital clock placed beside a car key with a red ribbon keyring begins a countdown to 6 p.m. on February 9 as the alarm goes off, and the accompanying guitar riff matches the melody heard in the earlier members videos, heightening immersion.

The ‘car key’ placed next to the clock recalls the red old car in the Liz version of the earlier coming-soon video, hinting at a link between the films. In this way, IVE has built a dense narrative through clues in each coming-soon video released, completing a cinematic series like an omnibus film with stylish visuals that bring out the charm of each member.

With the release of An Yujin version, all members coming-soon films have now been unveiled and continue to make headlines day after day. Ahead of the full comeback, curiosity is growing over what music and content will, through the pre-release on February 9, once again showcase the stature of the ‘IVE Syndrome.’

An Yujin, leader of IVE and a representative K-pop ‘all-rounder,’ has maintained wide-ranging activities. Based on solid vocal skills, she has participated in drama OSTs and even took part in writing lyrics for the track ‘Heroine’ on the first full-length album by IVE, broadening her musical spectrum, while also displaying standout variety flair through programs such as the tvN ‘Bbyong Bbyong Earth Arcade’ series, Netflix ‘Crime Scene Returns,’ and Zero.

Recently, she proved popularity befitting an ‘MZ Wannabe Icon’ by winning in the female variety idol category at the ‘2026 Korea First Brand Awards.’ With activities spanning music to variety, attention is focused on what new charms An Yujin will present to captivate K-pop listeners with the new release.
