The idol group ENHYPEN is sweeping domestic and overseas charts with its new release, continuing its strong run.
According to Hanteo Chart, an album sales tracking site, on the 23rd, the seventh mini album ‘THE SIN : VANISH’ by ENHYPEN (Jungwon, Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, Niki) sold a total of 2,075,056 copies in its first week after release (tracking period January 16~22). This is the fourth ‘double million seller’ album for ENHYPEN.
They first entered the ranks of ‘double million sellers’ with the fifth mini album ‘ORANGE BLOOD’ in 2023. Since then, the second studio album ‘ROMANCE : UNTOLD’, the sixth mini album ‘DESIRE : UNLEASH’, and the latest ‘THE SIN : VANISH’ each surpassed 2 million in first-week sales, proving their solid popularity. Among these, ‘ROMANCE : UNTOLD’ has surpassed 3 million in cumulative sales.
ENHYPEN shows formidable album power overseas as well. ‘THE SIN : VANISH’ went straight to No. 1 on the Oricon ‘Daily Album Ranking’ (dated January 21) on the day it was released in Japan. With this, ENHYPEN has succeeded in placing all 13 albums released to date in Korea and Japan at the top of this chart. Since debut, their combined album shipments have reached roughly 22.4 million.
‘THE SIN : VANISH’ is holding No. 1 for five consecutive days (dated January 17~21) on the Line Music daily ‘Album Top 100’, and it also topped the weekly chart (tracking period January 14~20). Having also dominated the ‘Worldwide iTunes Albums’ chart earlier, it indicates that all the tracks on the record are being widely loved.
The title track ‘Knife’ is also gaining momentum. On the January 22 broadcast of Mnet ‘M Countdown’, ENHYPEN took home a trophy with ‘Knife’. They said, “We are happy to be able to show the album we worked hard to complete to ENGENE (fandom name) in a great way. Thank you for being with us, and we love you,” and added, “With the energy we received today, we will work hard on our activities in 2026 as well.”
Riding the momentum of the ‘M Countdown’ win, ENHYPEN is beginning full-fledged promotions with a follow-up track. On KBS2 ‘Music Bank’ airing on the 23rd, they presented the stage for the follow-up track ‘Big Girls Don’t Cry’.
