The members of ‘2 Days & 1 Night’ and guests Boom and Kim Jae-won are forcibly admitted to the extreme-cold camp.
On the 25th, the KBS2 variety program ‘2 Days & 1 Night Season 4’ (hereafter ‘2 Days & 1 Night’) will unveil the second story of the ‘2026 Winter Workshop’, which takes place in Pyeongchang County and Inje County, Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province.
Just as the ‘2 Days & 1 Night’ team feared, the true purpose of this trip prepared by the production team was an ‘extreme-cold special’. Boom and Kim Jae-won, who appeared as guests and unexpectedly ended up joining the extreme-cold camp, express belated regret, saying, “If you had told us in advance, we would have come a week later.”
Because it is an extreme-cold camp, the ‘2 Days & 1 Night’ team and Boom and Kim Jae-won put their utmost effort into the missions for survival. Experiencing true, raw wilderness on his first appearance, Kim Jae-won candidly confesses, “I do miss drama sets.”
Amid an extreme chill with a wind-chill of minus 20 degrees, Boom becomes a construction manager himself to lead the work of building a base camp. When asked whether he actually majored in architecture, Boom gives a deflating answer, “I enjoyed the film ‘Architecture 101’,” leaving the highly expectant members at a loss for words.
Kim Jong-min demonstrates the seasoned poise of a 19-year veteran of ‘2 Days & 1 Night’. Seeing the members struggling for more than 10 minutes without being able to start a fire, he says, “Hand it over. I will show you,” then instantly brings the flames to life, reportedly drawing admiration from all the members.
The extreme-cold camp featuring the ‘2 Days & 1 Night’ members and guests Boom and Kim Jae-won can be seen on ‘2 Days & 1 Night Season 4’, airing at 6:10 p.m. on the 25th.
