Nexon will release the hybrid ocean adventure ‘Dave the Diver’(hereafter ‘Dave’) in China on February 6.
Developed by its development subsidiary Mintrocket, ‘Dave’ is a single-package game that, since its official release in 2023, has achieved cumulative global sales of 7 million copies thanks to its unique gameplay that combines ocean exploration and sushi restaurant management, as well as its broad popular appeal, earning praise from users worldwide.
The mobile version of ‘Dave’, introduced in China for the first time, retains the PC version's core fun elements while applying controls and a UI system optimized for mobile environments, delivering an immersive play experience anytime, anywhere.
In China, the local service name for ‘Dave’ is ‘Diver Dave’, and XD Network, which has serviced global hits such as ‘Girls Frontline’ and ‘Azur Lane’, will handle operations. It will be sold as a paid package and will support PC and mobile (Android, iOS) platforms. The PC version will be launched first via the TapTap platform, followed by sequential releases on major PC platforms such as Steam China and WeGame, and the mobile version plans to expand its service regions to the domestic and global markets at a later date.
Previously, ‘Dave’ showcased its gameplay through on-site demos at major local game events such as ChinaJoy 2025 and WePlay 2025, and more than 1.45 million users have participated in the ongoing pre-registration via the TapTap platform, demonstrating strong interest.
