The first date partner of the ‘national nephew’ Yoon Hoo has been revealed. It is none other than Park Si-woo, daughter of on-stage legend Park Nam-jung.

On the 3rd, tvN STORY & E Channel’s ‘My Kid’s Romance 2’ released its second teaser video ahead of the first broadcast on the 25th (Wed). ‘My Kid’s Romance 2’ is a hyper-immersive dating show that, because you can neither directly watch nor teach your child’s romance, observes it together from the parents’ perspective. The first teaser, unveiled on the 28th, drew hot buzz day after day with the news that Yoon Hoo, who has grown from the ‘national nephew’ into a young man, would appear. Among this, the second teaser released today (the 3rd) goes a step further by capturing Yoon Hoo’s very first date, already prompting viewers’ deep immersion.

Sitting across from Yoon Hoo, who shyly introduces his name, is his partner, Park Si-woo. Between a nervous Yoon Hoo, fidgeting his hands with an awkward smile, and a bashful Park Si-woo, a ticklish current of a first meeting flows. On their ensuing first date, Yoon Hoo carefully straightens a scarf for Park Si-woo and confides, “She looked very cute, and it was a moment that made my heart flutter.” Park Si-woo, for her part, describes Yoon Hoo as “someone who makes you curious?”, doubling the first-date butterflies.

Revealed for the first time in this video as Yoon Hoo’s initial date partner, Park Si-woo is singer Park Nam-jung’s daughter and the younger sister of STAYC’s Sieun. She is known as a skilled powerhouse who became a five-time winner in arts university admissions, making Park Nam-jung a proudly boastful dad. Contrary to her calm and aloof first impression, production staff say she has a twistbeing a candid and proactive ‘teto woman’ when it comes to love. Above all, while Park Nam-jung is a legend who ruled the stage with confident dance and vocals, he contrasts by turning into a clumsy ‘dad’ in front of his daughter. Curiosity already bubbles over what new side the perfectionist with a cold-beauty aura, Park Si-woo, will show in romance; what reactions Park Nam-jung will have as he watches his daughter date; and, above all, what sort of subtle sparring(?) he might have with Yoon Min-soo, Yoon Hoo’s father and his junior as a singer.

The production team explained, “If the first teaser captured Yoon Hoo’s growth into a young man, the second teaser introduces Park Si-woo, the person who drew his interest, along with his first date, allowing viewers to naturally follow the relationship’s emotional arc.” They added, “The unfamiliar expressions ‘my kid’ shows in the face of love, and the parents’ candid reactions as they watch that process, will be Season 2’s biggest viewing points.” They also previewed, “This season, cast members with different backgrounds and personalities gather in one place, making the temperature and direction of romance even more diverse,” and continued, “Please look forward to which cast members will join, to the youths who grow before lovefrom fluttering excitement to hesitation and courageand to the parents’ hyper-immersive reactions as they watch.”
