Fantagio, the agency of actor Kim Seon-ho, confirmed the facts and announced its official position regarding the controversy over the operation of a one-person corporation that became known through a recent Sports Kyunghyang report.
On the 4th, through an additional statement, Fantagio explained that Kim Seon-ho established a corporation in January 2024 and, until he signed an exclusive contract with Fantagio in February 2025, received settlement payments through that corporation.
Fantagio stated that after recognizing that operation of the corporation itself could be open to misunderstanding, operations were halted, and for more than the past year there has been no substantive activity through the corporation.
Regarding the current method of settlements for Kim Seon-ho, the company emphasized that from the contract date in February 2025 to the present, settlement payments have been made directly to the actor as an individual, and that activities between the company and the actor have no relation to the corporation.
In particular, concerning the tax and management issues at the center of the controversy, it acknowledged that the corporation had been operated in ignorance and stated that all amounts related to past corporate card use and family salaries, as well as the corporate vehicle, were returned. For amounts previously settled through the corporation, individual income tax was additionally paid on top of the corporate tax already paid.
Finally, the agency added that Kim Seon-ho deeply reflects on having maintained a corporation without sufficient understanding of corporate operation and offers a sincere apology, and that it will take all possible measures to manage every aspect of its artists activities more closely.
The corporation is currently undergoing administrative procedures for closure and is expected to be finalized soon.

? Incorporation and operation
Kim Seon-ho established a corporation in January 2024 for acting activities and stage production.
After the corporation was established in January 2024, for activities up until February 2025, before a new contract with Fantagio began, settlement payments were received through the corporation.
? Suspension of corporate operations
After recognizing that operation of the corporation itself could give rise to misunderstanding, operations of the corporation were halted, and for more than the past year there has been no substantive activity through the corporation.
? Contract with Fantagio
From the date of the exclusive contract in February 2025 to the present, Fantagio and Kim Seon-ho have been handling settlements by paying the actor directly as an individual. We make clear that the corporation has no relation to the contracting process or activities between Fantagio and Kim Seon-ho.
? Corporate closure procedures
As a proactive measure to correct the then-ignorant operation of the corporation, Kim Seon-ho returned the amounts related to past corporate card use and family salaries, and the corporate vehicle. For amounts previously settled through the corporation, individual income tax has been paid in addition to the corporate tax already paid. Procedures to close the corporation are underway, and the administrative process is expected to be concluded soon.
