Joy of girl group Red Velvet (Park Soo-young, under SM Entertainment) will meet viewers through the drama ‘One-of-a-kind Romance’.
The new drama ‘One-of-a-kind Romance’ produced by ㈜Corpus Korea, in which Park Soo-young is set to appear (directed by Kim Jin-young, written by Jeon Hyun-mi, produced by ㈜Corpus Korea, based on the Naver Webtoon ‘One-of-a-kind Romance’ by the author Dubu), portrays a mutual fandom romance between an ordinary job seeker, Gong Yu-il, who inadvertently becomes the manager of Tak Mu-i (played by Kim Hyun-jin), and top star Tak Mu-i, who hides pain caused by stalking, and it is drawing attention as it is based on a popular Naver webtoon of the same name.
In this work, Park Soo-young plays the job seeker ‘Gong Yu-il’, who has a harmless and warm personality, and is expected to thrill viewers as she brings to life a character who, amidst everyday life, faces an unexpected romance with top star Tak Mu-i through a lively performance.
To better embody ‘Gong Yu-il’, Park Soo-young not only transformed her hairstyle into a bob, but also adds her signature bright and clear charm, naturally completing a character with positive energy and raising expectations that she will draw empathy from viewers.
Above all, beginning with the tvN drama ‘She Loves Lies Too Much’, and through various works such as the MBC drama ‘The Great Seducer’, the JTBC drama ‘Only One Person’, and KakaoTV original ‘Accidental Country Diary’, Park Soo-young has steadily broadened her acting spectrum, and attention is focused on what new side she will show in this project.
