Jung Ji-soo and Han Jeong-wan are making their mark as ‘maxed-out potential’ actors.
The short-form drama ‘Possibility Zero Romance’, pre-released via Watcha and Shortcha on the 29th of last month, portrays a precarious love triangle among ‘Seol Ji-hee’ (played by Jung Ji-soo), who fell at first sight; ‘Han Seung-yun’ (played by Kim Dong-hyun), who makes a fake coming-out to catch her attention; and ‘Yoon Chan-young’ (played by Seo Ji-hoo), who is inadvertently roped into a sham relationship.
Rising actors Jung Ji-soo and Han Jeong-wan, who have steadily built their presence across dramas, films, and advertising, take on the roles of Seol Ji-hee and Seol Ji-hoon, respectively, in ‘Possibility Zero Romance’, enriching the series with immersive performances.
In the story, Jung Ji-soo plays ‘Seol Ji-hee’. With standout visuals and aura, Ji-hee is the ‘campus queen bee’ who turns heads wherever she goes. Though she has received countless confessions, Ji-hee, who rarely opened her heart, gradually changes as she encounters unpredictable butterflies. Jung Ji-soo delicately conveys the character's subtle emotional shifts, heightening immersion and drawing viewers' attention.
Han Jeong-wan delivers a passionate turn as Ji-hee's older brother, ‘Seol Ji-hoon’. Amid the tangled relationships among Ji-hee, Seung-yun, and Chan-young, Seol Ji-hoon is a dependable presence who offers realistic advice, while his bickering, true-to-life sibling chemistry with Ji-hee adds vibrancy to the show and showcases a deft command of character.
Jung Ji-soo has drawn notice as a promising talent, working across a wide range of genres from teen to horror and mystery, including TVING's ‘Pyramid Game’, U+ mobile TV's ‘First Love’, and the film ‘Home Cam’, even attracting love calls from the advertising sector. Moreover, Han Jeong-wan made his big-screen debut with last year's film ‘God's Band’, surpassing a cumulative 930,000 admissions (based on the Korean Film Council's integrated computer network as of February 2), marking him as a next-generation Chungmuro prospect.
Accordingly, expectations are building for what projects and characters Jung Ji-soo and Han Jeong-wan, who showed another step of growth through ‘Possibility Zero Romance’, will bring to audiences in 2026.
Starring Jung Ji-soo and Han Jeong-wan, ‘Possibility Zero Romance’ is scheduled to be released on various global platforms such as Kitz, Heavenly, and DramaBox on the 6th.
