Actor Lee Chung-ah has returned with ‘Honor : Their Courtroom’.
Unveiled on the 2nd, the new Monday-Tuesday drama from ENA, ‘Honor : Their Courtroom’ (directed by Park Geon-ho, written by Park Ga-yeon, planned by KT Studio Genie, produced by How Pictures, hereafter ‘Honor’), is a mystery pursuit series about three female attorneys who face head-on a past that has returned as a massive scandal.
Lee Chung-ah sheds her previously calm, sophisticated image and plays Hwang Hyun-jin, an attorney at L&J (Listen and Join), a firm specializing in representing victims of crimes against women, equipped with sharp intellect and unflinching drive.
She depicts the headstrong side of Hyun-jin with a fierce gaze and a forceful tone, breathing fiery vitality into the character; at the same time, she soothes the fearful client Jo Yoo-jung (Park Se-hyun), adding her trademark atmosphere of trust and completing a warm humanity.

Amid the vortex of the case, she also conveyed with nuance the complex inner changes the character undergoes. Her collapse before the shocking death of former lover Lee Jun-hyuk (Lee Chung-ju) leaves viewers heavy-hearted, while her delicate portrayal of the tension of having to hide her own secret from her husband Gu Seon-gyu (Choi Young-joon), who is investigating the murder case, further heightens immersion in the drama.

From hot-blooded action that subdues threatening opponents in an instant to an intensely persuasive gaze that turns former source Lee Seon-hwa (Baek Ji-hye) around, the bold charisma of Lee Chung-ah kept viewers from letting go of the tension.
