The theatrical exhibition brand Megabox will continue its ‘Disney Cinema’ collaboration with The Walt Disney Company Korea.

Megabox said on the 5th, “In 2026 as well, we will continue operating ‘Disney Cinema’ with The Walt Disney Company Korea and, to mark the new year, will launch a new special showcase.” This ‘Disney Cinema’ has been in operation for three years since its launch in May 2024.

The Megabox ‘Disney Cinema’ is a dedicated space where audiences can experience works from key Disney brands, including Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and 20th Century Studios. At locations nationwide, including the COEX location, it presents not only new Disney releases but also selects and screens Disney titles such as ‘Coco’ ‘Up’ ‘Soul’ ‘WALL-E’ the ‘Toy Story’ series, and titles including ‘Ratatouille’ ‘Inside Out’ ‘Moana’ ‘Zootopia’ and the ‘Iron Man’ series.

As the first ‘Disney Cinema’ showcase of the year, Megabox will screen the landmark musical films ‘Moulin Rouge’ and ‘The Sound of Music’. ‘Moulin Rouge’ will run from the 12th to the 25th, while ‘The Sound of Music’ will be screened in Dolby format for the first time in Korea from the 16th to the 22nd.

Details on ticketing and events for the Disney Cinema showcase will be available from the 6th on the Megabox website and mobile application.
