After dating rumors about actor Ha Jung-woo and actor Cha Jung-won became public, dating rumors raised about the two eight years ago are being revisited.
On the 4th, when marriage rumors about Ha Jung-woo and Cha Jung-won were reported, posts online about dating allegations involving them from 2018 drew renewed attention. If that rumor, which was brushed aside at the time, is taken as the starting point, the two would have been dating for about eight to nine years.
At the time, the rumor stemmed from social media photos posted by Cha Jung-won and actor Hwang Bo-ra. A Bichon Frise appeared in their photos, prompting speculation that the dog belonged to Ha Jung-woo. Observers also pointed out that the color and pattern of the flooring in the two photos looked similar.

Some users speculated that Hwang Bo-ra, who was in a relationship with the younger brother of Ha Jung-woo at the time, visited the home of Ha Jung-woo and that Cha Jung-won might also have been there. In that post, Cha Jung-won said the dog was named Rosie, drawing a line under the rumor and leaving it as unconfirmed speculation.
On the 4th, speculation that Ha Jung-woo would marry in July brought renewed attention to these images. His side said that while he is dating Cha Jung-won, nothing has been decided regarding marriage and the timing is also undecided. The agency of Cha Jung-won, Saram Entertainment, likewise said the two are continuing a good relationship but added that nothing has been decided regarding marriage.

Ha Jung-woo rose to prominence in Chungmuro with films The Unforgiven, The Chaser, and the Along with the Gods series. After recently directing and starring in The People Upstairs, he returns to television next month with the tvN drama How to Become a Building Owner in the Republic of Korea.
Born in 1989 and eleven years younger than Ha Jung-woo, Cha Jung-won debuted with the 2012 film Horror Stories and appeared in the drama Lawless Lawyer, among others. She also recently appeared in the film Plunge.
