Actor Kim Ji-hoon has confirmed his appearance in the Coupang Play series ‘Adultery Is Not the Problem Right Now’, continuing his unstoppable run of work.
His agency Big Picture ENT said on the 5th “Actor Kim Ji-hoon will appear in the Coupang Play series ‘Adultery Is Not the Problem Right Now’. Having showcased transformative performances that surpass his limits with every project, Kim Ji-hoon is set to once again deliver a powerful presence.”
The Coupang Play series ‘Adultery Is Not the Problem Right Now’ is a black comedy that spirals into a chain of runaway collisions as a popular influencer couple who has sold the image of a happy home and a neighboring doctor couple in the midst of a nasty divorce suit become entangled in an unmanageable secret that renders even affairs trivial.
In the drama, Kim Ji-hoon plays Jae-hong, an actor who lives in the shadow of his successful wife, and the husband of Kyung-hee (Kim Hye-soo). Kim Ji-hoon, whose very name inspires trust, is expected to firmly anchor the center of the story with a commanding presence as the characters’ desires race to extremes.
Kim Ji-hoon has proven a wide acting spectrum across genres including drama and variety. In particular, last year he rolled out a string of buzzworthy projects, including the SBS FridaySaturday drama ‘Return to the Palace’, the Amazon Prime series ‘Butterfly’, the Netflix drama ‘May It All Come True’, the Tving original ‘Dear X’, the tvN MondayTuesday drama ‘Spiteful Love’, and the Netflix variety show ‘Crime Scene Zero’, enjoying a true heyday.
Buoyed by this momentum, Kim Ji-hoon won Best Actor in the Fantasy category at the 2025 SBS Drama Awards, Best Performance in the Drama category at the 45th Golden Cinematography Awards, and Best Performance in the OTT category at the 2025 Seoul International Film Awards. In January, he also received the Multientertainer Award at the ‘2026 Korea First Brand Awards’, firmly establishing himself as a representative actor of 2026.
