Actor Jung Si-a opened up about having married at a young age.
On the 4th, the YouTube channel ‘Hyeongsuneun K.Will’ released a video titled ‘The adolescence of a son with eighth-grader syndrome that is scarier than father-in-law Baek Yoon-sik’. In the video, Jung Si-a appeared as a guest and discussed a range of topics.
As soon as she appeared, Jung Si-a threw a direct question at K.Will, saying, “On the way here, I watched (the video) a bit; do you have no plans to get married?” She continued, “If you were planning to marry and had children in mind, you would not make your home this dark, would you? Do you not have a girlfriend?”
She also said, “You are not at an age to hide things like this, and you are not an idol,” to which K.Will replied, “I have never been an idol. Still, when I think about getting married, it is true that I become cautious.”

Now in her 17th year of marriage, Jung Si-a shared honest thoughts about her own marriage. She confessed, “What I feel these days is that as I get older, I can see everything when I look at people. ‘This is why, as you get older, you cannot get married.’ I was fortunate to meet the right person. (If it had been just a little later) I do not think I could have done it.”
K.Will then asked Jung Si-a, “When you married early, did you not worry about your career?” Jung Si-a answered, “I got married almost 20 years ago. Even in the entertainment industry at that time, when a female celebrity got married, it was a difficult time to continue activities. Today, you can do many things even after getting married and having children, but back then it felt like ‘It is over.’” She continued, “My dream was to be a devoted wife and wise mother, so I chose love with the thought that I would leave this line of work once I got married, but I ended up continuing to work even after marriage.”
Meanwhile, in 2009, Jung Si-a married Baek Do-bin, the son of actor Baek Yoon-sik, and they have one son and one daughter.
