An update showing Netflix ‘Single's Inferno 5’ contestant Choi Mina-su in self-reflection has been made public.
On the 4th, an Instagram post by an acquaintance of Choi Mina-su was shared online. The released photo showed a person presumed to be Choi Mina-su crouching in a corner with her head bowed from behind, and the photo bore the text “I'm reflecting ㅠㅠ,” drawing attention.

It was followed by the line “Review from a close friend who watched episodes 1~4 together: What do you really feel?”, along with a shot of Choi Mina-su sitting in front of a TV watching her own scenes. The post from the acquaintance appears to be mindful of the negative reactions directed at Choi Mina-su after the broadcast.

Earlier, another acquaintance also drew attention on Instagram, saying, “Mina-su is such a good friend, like family, who catches my feelings before even I do and cheers me on,” and adding, “The more you get to know her, the better a person she is, so please support her through the final episode.”
Meanwhile, on ‘Single's Inferno 5’, Choi Mina-su found herself at the center of controversy, being labeled a ‘reed character’ for an emotional arc entangled with multiple male cast members. She formed complicated dynamics with Hyun-woo, Seong-hoon, Seung-il, and Su-bin, which heightened the tension of the show, but in some scenes her free-spirited behavior came off as potentially rude and drew criticism from viewers.
In particular, when she was hit with the sudden question, “Can you leave with two men at once?”, Hong Jin-kyung, a panelist on ‘Single's Inferno’, firmly cut in with “Please stop.” The scene spread quickly online and was talked about as a so-called ‘cathartic moment’. In the latest episode released on the 3rd, even during a Paradise date with Song Seung-il, she was shown unable to focus on her counterpart, and the controversy grew further with a scene where Seung-il said, “I want to get back to Inferno as soon as possible.”
