Actor Chae Jung-an spread positive influence through donations and volunteer work for neighbors in need.

On the 3rd, Chae Jung-an donated $7,500 (10,000,000 KRW) to the incorporated association ‘Wiki Korea’ to help the underprivileged and visited a volunteer site to lend support.

The donation will be used for ‘Wiket Delivery’, which targets at-risk teenagers, youth preparing for independence, and single mothers, as well as for establishing an education center. By funding the production costs of the ‘Wiket Box (livelihood support box)’, which supports the livelihoods of 150 people each month, Chae conveyed her desire to provide practical help to those in need.

Not stopping there, Chae visited the site where Wiket Boxes to be delivered before the Lunar New Year holiday were being prepared, and, reflecting her long-standing interest in sharing, actively took part in volunteer work by helping volunteers prepare holiday foods, spreading warm goodwill.

“I wanted to provide practical help, even if only a little, to those in need, which is why I took part in donating and volunteering. It was a meaningful time that allowed me to reflect once again on the meaning of sharing as I personally filled the ‘Wiket Box’” she shared.

‘Wiki Korea’, to which Chae made the donation, is a non-profit organization established in 2023 that runs programs supporting those who need social protection, including youth preparing for independence.

Meanwhile, Chae serves as MC of the tvN variety show ‘My Secret Butterfly Effect’, which airs every Friday at 9 a.m., delivering performances befitting an ‘icon of self-care’.
