29th-class Young-suk revealed the behind-the-scenes detail that the news of Young-sik’s sudden resignation made her so anxious that she contacted the PD directly.

On the YouTube channel ‘Chonjang Entertainment TV’, an exclusive interview video with 29th-class Young-suk from the ENA·SBS PLUS variety ‘‘I Am SOLO(I Am SOLO)’ was released on the 4th.

In the video, when the production team asked, “These days it is a time when young people find it hard to land good jobs, and the public was greatly surprised by the news that Young-sik suddenly quit his company. How did you feel when you heard this?”, Young-suk conveyed her candid feelings.

Young-suk said, “I was really surprised. I could not help but worry whether it was because of me or because of the show,” and added, “As soon as I heard the news of Young-sik’s resignation, I contacted the PD.” She continued, “It was right after the scene aired in which I told Young-sik, ‘That is not how you conduct yourself at work,’ so it weighed on my mind even more.”

She shared, “I directly asked the reason for his resignation, and he said he had already been thinking of leaving the company and that the timing simply aligned that way,” while also confessing, “Even so, I felt sorry that it happened during the broadcast.”

She also looked back on the situation, saying, “In fact, with a nine-year age difference, there were aspects where I felt Young-sik more like a younger brother than as a man.”

In the January 14 broadcast of the 29th class of ‘I Am SOLO’, after finishing a date, Young-sik expressed interest to Ok-soon and then even called in Young-suk, who was resting at the lodging, to reveal his feelings, and that scene aired.

In response, Young-suk, introduced as a ‘current professor’, pointed out Young-sik’s behavior, saying, “Why do you act that way,” and “You need to be more prudent in workplace life,” a strong remark that drew viewers’ attention.

Meanwhile, the 30th-class ‘Egen-nam·Teto-nyeo’ special of ‘I Am SOLO’ airs on Wednesday at 10:30 p.m. on SBS Plus and ENA.
