Actor Kim Tae-woo has captivated weekend television by presenting a lineup of polar-opposite characters.

On MBC ‘Judge Lee Han-Young’ and SBS ‘From Today, I Am Human, However’, both currently popular, Kim fully embodies sharply contrasting roles, once again proving the depth of his seasoned craft.

First, in ‘Judge Lee Han-Young’, Kim takes on ‘Baek I-seok’, known as the ‘White Tiger of the judiciary’, projecting a weighty presence. By contrast, in ‘From Today, I Am Human, However’, he drew buzz with a radical transformation that is 180 degrees different, starting with his look. Kim appears as the shaman ‘Jang Do-cheol’, who is chasing the gumiho Eun-ho (played by Kim Hye-yoon), and announced a striking first entrance with an unusual visual pairing half-tied long hair with sunglasses. Through this, he erased in an instant the gentlemanly image he has shown across various works and vividly presented the mad obsession of Jang Do-cheol, who spares no means or methods for fox hunting.

Kim Tae-woo’s razor-edged performance imposed an intimidating air and instantly shifted the show into a mystery thriller. With a chilling gaze and delivery, he drove the tension to the extreme, making viewers hold their breath.
