Her agency has taken a hard line against indiscriminate malicious comments and the spread of false information targeting actress and singer Hyeri.

Through its official social media account on the 5th, Sublime stated that “we are taking a hard line against all illegal acts occurring online targeting Hyeri, including defamation, insult, sexual harassment, and the spread of false information,” and that “between 2024 and 2025, we filed criminal complaints on two occasions against the authors of the related posts.”

It added, “The identities of many suspects have been identified and the cases have been transferred to the police stations with jurisdiction, and some are currently being forwarded to the prosecution on charges including insult.” It also emphasized, “Through continuous monitoring and evidence collection, we will take immediate legal action without prior notice against any additional illegal acts that are confirmed,” and “there will be no leniency or settlements under any circumstances.”

On Hyeri’s YouTube channel, a video released on January 9 included a scene in which psychiatrist Lee Gwang-min analyzed it as “a state in which it is difficult to lean on or rely on others.”

After news of the agency’s criminal complaints over malicious comments became known, the video drew renewed attention, and messages of support for Hyeri have continued online.

We would like to provide an update on the status of legal action regarding malicious posts and comments related to our artist Hyeri.

We are taking a hard line against all illegal acts occurring online targeting Hyeri, including defamation, insult, sexual harassment, and the spread of false information.

Accordingly, between 2024 and 2025 we filed criminal complaints on two occasions against the authors of the related posts.

At present, the identities of many suspects named in the criminal complaints have been identified and the cases have been transferred to the police stations with jurisdiction,

and some have been forwarded to the prosecution on charges including insult.

We will continue, through ongoing monitoring and the collection of evidence,

to take immediate legal action without prior notice against any additional illegal acts that are identified.

There will be no leniency or settlements under any circumstances,

and we will respond firmly to the end to eradicate criminal acts targeting our artist.
