Panelists showed split reactions to remarks by Oksun from the 30th cohort on ‘I Am Solo’ about her ideal type, drawing laughs.

Oksun from the 30th cohort answered a question about her ideal type with, “a man I can respect.” She said, “I feel respect when I think, why could this person have this kind of thought in such a situation,” naming as her ideal someone whose way of thinking offers something to learn.

Upon hearing this, panelists Defconn and Lee Yi-kyung immediately grimaced. Defconn said, “Ah, that is the phrase men hate the most,” and added with a joke, “What exactly do you respect? Does he have to be at the level of a great figure?”

By contrast, Song Hae-na offered a different view, saying, “I can understand it.” She noted that the remark by Oksun could be interpreted as placing importance on values and ways of thinking.

Defconn kept at it until the end, repeatedly stressing, “Ladies, please do not say ‘someone worthy of respect.’ Men do not get it,” turning the scene into a sea of laughter.
