At the end of the Seoul concert of ‘2026 MONSTA X World Tour ’THE X : NEXUS‘(2026 MONSTA X WORLD TOUR ’THE X : NEXUS‘)’, MONSTA X unexpectedly unveiled a teaser video, signaling the U.S. digital single ‘growing pains(growing pains)’ to be released on the 6th.

The video drew attention as it showed the members diving into the sea or savoring a sense of freedom along with the refreshing sound of waves. They took photos together and wrote the name of Monbebe (official fan club name) in the sand, conveying their unique sensibility through everyday moments, while crisp, refreshing vocals amplified the mood of the new song and further raised expectations. At the end of the clip, the title ‘growing pains’ appeared alongside the release date, stirring anticipation among fans.

‘growing pains’ candidly lays bare the loneliness and drifting felt while chasing dreams, carrying a resolve to keep moving forward. Built on emotive pop with a lyrical melody, it is expected to be a ‘MONSTA X-style healing song’ that showcases the warm vocals of the members.

Previously, in November last year, MONSTA X expanded its musical spectrum with the U.S. digital single ‘baby blue(baby blue)’, sketching an emotional line where the wistfulness and warmth of reminiscing about a past love coexist. From January 30 to February 1, over three days at KSPO DOME in Seoul (formerly Gymnastics Stadium), the group delivered ‘THE X : NEXUS’, presenting not only a ‘back-to-basics’ stage that distilled their journey so far but also an expanded musical spectrum and full-unit synergy, drawing an enthusiastic response. Marking its 10th debut anniversary last year, MONSTA X filled the year with dazzling activity, imprinting its presence once again. With the 10th-anniversary album ‘THE X(THE X)’, the group appeared on multiple global charts, including the main U.S. Billboard chart ‘Billboard 200’, and showcased music with a more mature sensibility through ‘baby blue’.
