In ‘Baby Daddy Is a Guy Friend’, Bae Yoon-kyung maximized the appeal of her character and drove an unpredictable progression.

First released on the 4th, LezhinSnack ‘Baby Daddy Is a Guy Friend’ is written and directed by Lee Byung-Hun. After Je-a (Choi Hyo-Ju) becomes unexpectedly pregnant, she makes an outlandish proposal to her male friend Gu-In (Kim Shin-Bi) to act as the father of the child, and what begins as co-parenting turns into a boundary-crossing, mayhem-filled rom-com short-form drama.

At the same time, toward the latter half, she doubles the fun through the bickering chemistry among the characters and reveals another face of Gyeong-a. She blends into the work itself through the distinctive dialogue cadence of director Lee Byung-Hun and the ironic situations, completing the drama.

Through ‘Baby Daddy Is a Guy Friend’, Bae Yoon-kyung showcases yet another acting transformation and proves a wide acting spectrum. Beyond bold character expression, she delicately depicts subtle emotional shifts in line with the plot, adding dimensionality to Gyeong-a. As Bae Yoon-kyung leaves a strong impression with flexible acting that spans the entire narrative and solid character immersion, expectations are rising for what she will unfold as the story heads toward its peak with each episode.
