Singers Yu Haeng-hun, KESSIA, and Won-seok topped this week’s ‘Weekly KiTalbum Spotlight’ TOP 3.

KiTbetter (KiTbetter) revealed the featured artists for Week 5 of January’s ‘Weekly KiTalbum Spotlight (Weekly KiTalbum Spotlight)’ on the 2nd.

For Week 5 of January, the ‘Weekly KiTalbum Spotlight’ featured Yu Haeng-hun, KESSIA, and Won-seok.

The first pick (Pick) was artist Yu Haeng-hun’s single ‘Under the Moonlight’. Debuting as the leader of the four-member ballad group 7942 and active across multiple fields, Yu Haeng-hun has been loved for highly polished music and vocals. The newly released single ‘Under the Moonlight’ breaks a long 10-year hiatus and, carrying a sentiment different from his earlier work, is completed in the Oriental ballad genre that feels like watching a historical drama.

The second pick was artist KESSIA (KESSIA)’s first full-length album ‘choose’. Having begun full-scale activities by releasing the single ‘MIND’ in 2023, KESSIA drew much attention with emotive music based on R&B. In particular, this first studio album, which began with the single ‘Watercolor (choose)’ released in October 2024, raises the album’s completeness by including tracks of diverse moods under the theme ‘choose the me you want’.

The final pick was artist Won-seok’s ‘Dystopia [Acoustic ver.]’. Beginning full-scale activities with the 2019 single ‘LENS’, Won-seok has broadened his musical spectrum by showing various sides through solo work, activities as the duo AUBE ROUTE, and producing. The newly released ‘Dystopia [Acoustic ver.]’ is an expanded edition of the digital single ‘Dystopia’ released last July, comprising five tracks including an acoustic version, an original arrangement version, and a sped-up version, allowing the song to be enjoyed in more varied ways.
