On the episode of JTBC ‘Divorce Deliberation Camp’ (hereafter ‘IsukCam’) aired on the 5th, a couple in their third year of marriage who had experienced divorce and reconciliation over two years appeared.

That day, the wife said, “I filed divorce papers three times,” and the husband added, “We are living together again after reconciling,” surprising everyone. Seo Jang-hoon said, “Divorced after five months, then remarried a month before (filming)? If you lived apart for two years, then the actual married life amounts to less than a year.”

She then revealed that two weeks after the wedding she left home and submitted divorce papers, the divorce was postponed because the husband went out of contact, and they eventually divorced. However, after some time, the husband contacted her again, and after ten months of dating, they had reconciled as of a month before filming.

Seo Jang-hoon asked, “You broke up twice and met again the third time, so was it the husband who pleaded?” The husband confided, “I never intended to divorce from the beginning. I met her thinking her heart would have softened.” Seo then expressed bewilderment, saying, “These are things people do in their early twenties; why are people of your age acting like this?”

The cause of their divorce was conflict between the wife and her mother-in-law. The wife claimed that the husband left her unattended while she was scolded by his mother for an hour.
