The skilled four-piece rock band D82 (D-eight-two) successfully concluded their first performance in Taiwan (Republic of China).

D82 (Kim Chang-hyun, Han Seung-yun, Kim Eun-se, Hwang Min-jae) took the stage on the 1st at the large-scale music festival ‘2026 Chosen Festival’, held at the Taipei Music Center in Taiwan, after being invited as a representative artist of Seoul. As part of a project for recommending and exchanging overseas musicians, D82 showcased singular musical prowess and an overwhelming live performance, helping draw a cumulative audience of 20,000 over two days.

With its signature energetic sound and fantastic stage manners, D82 elicited an enthusiastic response from the local audience. Despite it being their first show in Taiwan, they proved stable skill and, by all accounts, displayed the unfiltered strength of K-band.

After the performance, D82 shared their thoughts: “We were nervous because it was our first time meeting the Taiwanese audience, but thanks to the intense energy at the venue, we were able to pour out everything we had prepared. It was a meaningful time, gaining good energy while interacting with artists of various nationalities.”

Rockin Korea added, “Starting with a solo concert this coming March, D82 plans to carry out a city-by-city tour while working on a new album, so please look forward to their diverse activities.”
