Park Kyung-gu of the band Eoljinity has passed away at the age of 38.

On the 7th, Park Kyung-gu’s bereaved family announced via his social networking service (SNS), “It is still hard to believe, but on behalf of the family we share the obituary,” and added, “We would be grateful if you could accompany our brother’s final journey with warm hearts.” The cause of death was not disclosed.

Park was a founding member who busked together with Busker Busker’s Jang Beom-jun and is known as the original creator of ‘Between Hongdae and Kondae’. He was also involved in Jang Beom-jun’s first solo album, helping to bring hit songs to life.

On the 9th, Jang Beom-jun also posted a video titled “Park Kyung-gu Best Live Clip” on his YouTube to express his condolences. The story was also revisited that when he released “Jang Beom-jun 4th Album (History of a Loser)” last March, he wrote, “Praying for Kyung-gu’s health.”
