Actor Lee Chang-hoon, Mystic Story

On the 10th, it was announced that actor Lee Chang-hoon has confirmed his appearance in ‘Shining (written by Lee Suk-yeon/directed by Kim Yoon-jin/produced by SLL, Kakao Entertainment)’.

The new JTBC Friday series ‘Shining’ is a drama about youths who once shared a world of their own, becoming the very light that reflects trust in one another and illuminates the course of their lives.

Lee Chang-hoon will play Jung-su, a math teacher and homeroom teacher at a rural high school, portraying a person with deep affection for students. He is expected to bring out the warm side of the character with his signature human charm and warmth.

Lee Chang-hoon has built trust by showcasing realistic acting and a stable command of character through diverse projects, including the dramas ‘Beneficial Fraud’, ‘Someday Wise Resident Life’, and ‘Typhoon Company’.

With delicate performances that portray inner lives without exaggeration and heighten immersion, he is expected to deliver deep resonance once again through the character Jung-su in this drama ‘Shining’.

The new JTBC Friday series ‘Shining’ will premiere at 8:50 p.m. on March 6, with episodes 1 and 2 airing consecutively on the same day.
