Lee Young-ji
Singer Lee Young-ji has signaled a hardline response to rampant ticket scalping ahead of her solo concert.
On the 10th and 11th, through her social media, Lee Young-ji shared the news that the Seoul stop of her world tour had sold out and left a request for fans. She said, “I am truly so grateful,” while also stressing, “Quite a few people probably bought to resell, so canceled tickets may be released after midnight; give it a try. Never buy at a markup.”
When a fan asked, “How about seeing it for 300,000 won?” Lee drew a firm line. She said, “Absolutely not. I am making every effort to lower the ticket price even by 10,000 won, and you would pay a premium for that?” and added, “I want to have fun all together with people who genuinely want to enjoy it.”
She then posted an image of a cartoon character drawing a sword and added, “I will eradicate all ticket scalpers. You lot, stay put,” revealing her resolve to root out scalping.
Meanwhile, on March 7 and 8, at Olympic Hall in Olympic Park, Songpa-gu, Seoul, Lee Young-ji will hold ‘2026 LEE YOUNGJI WORLD TOUR <2.0> IN SEOUL’ and meet fans. She opens her world tour starting with the Seoul shows.
