Speculation continues that Im Su-bin and Park Hee-seon, the final couple on the Netflix dating show “Singles Inferno 5,” are a real-life couple (“current couple”).

In the official teaser for the “Singles Inferno 5” reunion released on the 11th, the two were seen being affectionate. After Park Hee-seon appeared wearing Im Su-bin’s hoodie, a scene showed Im Su-bin feeding Park Hee-seon, drawing attention. When footage of them holding hands with their fingers interlaced was also revealed, many online reacted that it was “a vibe you only see from a real-life couple.”

Interest continued in an interview video for fashion magazine ELLE’s “Singles Inferno 5” released the same day. In the video, when asked whether “platonic friendships between men and women exist,” Im Su-bin answered firmly, “No.” Some viewers therefore argued that “if she and Hee-seon are not currently dating, it is hard to explain that answer and the overall mood,” speculating about their relationship.

Updates on Park Hee-seon also drew attention. Park is enrolled at Carnegie Mellon University in the United States, and has said himself that after filming “Singles Inferno 5,” he applied to Yonsei University and Seoul National University as an exchange student. This prompted online speculation that, with Im Su-bin currently in Korea, he may have chosen to come to Korea to overcome a long-distance relationship.

With no official statement, rumors of at-home dates and couple rings, together with the pair’s academic plans, are fueling the spread of the “real-life couple” theory about Im Su-bin and Park Hee-seon.
