Ji Sung handed over 2 billion won to Kim Jong-hyuk.
In the MBC ‘Judge Lee Han-Young’ broadcast on the 13th, Representative Gwak Sang-cheol (Lee Jong-hyuk) met Lee Han-young (Ji Sung) and expressed his gratitude, saying, “The mad dog of Yeouido has become the pet of the public. The way people look at me these days is so different.”
He then stood up, saying he would pay 50,000 won and settle the bill. Seok Jeong-ho (Tae Won-seok) blocked him, opened the lid of the chair Gwak Sang-cheol had been sitting on, and showed bundles of 50,000 won notes crammed inside.
Lee Han-young asked Gwak Sang-cheol to persuade lawmakers struggling with party nominations to introduce the Park Gwang-to special counsel bill. Gwak refused, saying, “I said the way people look at me these days is very different, and why would that make me avoid the cushion of money right before my eyes.”
At this, Lee Han-young asked, “Is the home you live in now not a jeonse deposit of 500 million won? Then why would you forgo 2 billion.” Gwak said, “The average assets of the people of the Republic of Korea are not even 500 million won. While I have served as a lawmaker, I have tried not to exceed that average myself, but my wife is extremely tenacious.”
He asked, “What were you planning to do if I had accepted this.” Lee Han-young replied, “You would have understood. It is not money I am giving to do something bad, is it.”
