A major YouTuber who caused an accident while driving under the influence in a state of heavy intoxication was caught by police.

According to TV Chosun on the 14th, the Seoul Suseo Police Station apprehended a man in his 30s for drunk driving at around 11:10 p.m. on the 23rd of last month in the parking lot of a lamb skewers restaurant in Yeoksam-dong, Gangnam.

After leaving the restaurant, while pulling his car out in the parking lot, he hit another vehicle, and then during reversing, he crashed into the parking lot wall again, according to the investigation.

The man is said to have stated, “I drank one glass of baijiu.” He refused a breathalyzer at the scene and requested a blood test, and the results showed a blood alcohol concentration at a license-revocation level.

It was also reported that the individual caught operates a YouTube channel with 1.2 million subscribers.
