The idol group NEWBEAT extended New Year greetings to fans in elegant hanbok to mark the Lunar New Year.
NEWBEAT (NEWBEAT, Park Min-seok·Hong Min-seong·Jeon Yeo-yeo-jeong·Choi Seo-hyun·Kim Tae-yang·Jo Yun-hu·Kim Riu) released photos in hanbok via its official social media at 11 a.m. on the 17th.
In the photos, NEWBEAT captured attention with pastel-toned hanbok outfits, each in a different shade. Their pure yet reassuring charm, distinct from their intense onstage image, was amplified.
With neat attire and a dignified air, they completed a distinctive hanbok look befitting a group composed entirely of Koreans, eliciting admiration.

The leader Park Min-seok, born in 2002 and of the Horse zodiac, said, “As this is the Year of the Red Horse, I will run even harder,” and added, “Please look forward to NEWBEAT, which has limitless potential.”
Hong Min-seong continued, “This year, even 365 days would not be enough; I want to see our fans more often,” expressing his love for fans, and Jeon Yeo-yeo-jeong added, “I hope you hear many good, uplifting words and spend this year happily,” creating a warm mood.
Choi Seo-hyun said, “Last Lunar New Year, we were right before debut, so I remember practicing all day,” and, “This year, I will aim for No. 1 on music shows and become a more mature artist.”
Kim Tae-yang also promised, “Building on our concert and busking experience, we will take first place on music shows during our upcoming comeback activities.”

Turning twenty, Jo Yun-hu resolved, “I will make this the best year with no regrets.” Finally, the youngest member, Kim Riu, concluded, “Thanks to Neuro (the fandom name), 2025 was truly happy. In 2026, NEWBEAT will make Neuro even happier.”
On the 15th, NEWBEAT kicked off its first nationwide tour, ‘2026 Drop the NEWBEAT : NEURO 1000 PROJECT’, in Suwon.
The project will journey through Daejeon, Daegu, and Busan, culminating in an encore concert in Seoul in March, and will be carried out alongside a mission to meet 1,000 fans in person.
