Im Hyung-joo, the ‘popera master’ appearing on TV CHOSUN ‘Dad and Me Season 3’, will for the first time reveal the person he cherishes so much that he usually calls them ‘my beloved baby’.
On the TV CHOSUN ‘Dad and Me Season 3’ airing on Wednesday the 18th, the ‘popera master’ Im Hyung-joo unveils his ‘certificate room’, where numerous awards are laid out, from a UN Peace Medal and commendations from the presidents of Korea and the United States to the Order of Civil Merit. Having seized various youngest and first titles, Im has received countless certificates, gathered them in one place, and doted on them. Im said, “I call ‘certificates’ ‘baby.’ To me, certificates are my girlfriend, my wife, and my children,” revealing his extraordinary affection for them. In response, Jun Hyun-moo joked, “You can forget about marriage, too.”
Im said, “The certificate room is the entirety of my career. When I am in that room, I feel I have truly lived diligently. It feels like ‘Oh! My love’, and just thinking about it makes me happy,” and he also revealed his special healing method of finding peace of mind in the certificate room. When Jun Hyun-moo, seeing the countless certificates, exclaimed, “You have many girlfriends,” Im quipped, “I am a playboy.” Hyun Joo-yeop also reacted, “No wonder Mother would be concerned.” As if on cue, Im Hyung-joo’s mother Helen Kim, upon hearing that Im calls certificates ‘baby’, was appalled, saying, “Who says that? However, seeing Im’s fervent affection as he even keeps a dehumidifier running 24 hours a day to maintain the certificate room, Jun Hyun-moo instead took Helen Kim’s side, saying, “It is creepy.”
