Actor Choi Jung-yun personally shared news of her remarriage, shedding the ‘single mom’ title and announcing a new second act of her life.

On the 26th, in a video posted on her YouTube channel ‘Choi Jung-yun with Two Jobs’, while talking with a close acquaintance, she made a surprise confession, saying “I plan to publicly come out today” and “In short, I am no longer single.”

She continued, “I am very grateful for the offers, but those who plan solo programs should now remove my name from their lists.”

Choi Jung-yun’s new husband is known to be a businessman. Introducing him, Choi said, “He is very similar in temperament to me.” She showed strong trust, saying, “Perhaps because he majored in physical education, he has a conservative side, and our approach and mindset regarding our child’s education align well, which I like.”

The decisive reason for deciding to remarry was her daughter Ji-woo. Choi said, “Ji-woo’s opinion accounted for about 70% of my decision,” and added, “Whenever I hear from those around me that Ji-woo is becoming brighter, I feel grateful, thinking, ‘My choice was not wrong.’” She went on, “I am spending a more comfortable and happier time than ever, feeling that this is what a real family is.”

In fact, after remarrying, Choi has reportedly often heard from acquaintances, “Your face looks better”, “You look at ease.” She added warmth by revealing plans for an overseas trip with her daughter soon, and sharing an update that her daughter has already formed a close relationship with her dad (her new husband).
