YouTube channel ‘Byeongse World’

After stepping away from the spotlight, actor Kim Byung-se, who recently shared an update on his life, unveiled his once-veiled U.S. residence for the first time.

On the 27th, Kim posted a video titled ‘Actor Kim Byung-se who left for the United States, the U.S. house that had been tightly hidden since his debut, finally revealed for the first time’ on his YouTube channel ‘Byeongse World’. The home in the video commanded attention from the entrance, evoking a garden filled with plants.

Entering the house, a wide front-foyer terrace and towering palm trees create an exotic atmosphere. The living room offers a warm feel as abundant daylight pours through floor-to-ceiling windows and a massive tree, and the terrace that opens directly off it even comes fully equipped with a barbecue setup.

In particular, the spacious yard covered with artificial turf is designed so the dogs can run around, and this area connects naturally to an outdoor swimming pool. At this exceptionally large residence, Kim was shown spending leisurely time with his dogs while watching the sunset.

He did not say much in the video, but revealing the house alone hinted at a happy daily life in the United States. In the video description, he wrote, “Take a look at a true retreat I have never shown on broadcast. In my opinion, if you want to go on a diet, a house like this is the best.”

Earlier, on the 10th, Kim launched his YouTube channel and opened up about why he had disappeared from broadcasts for a while. He confessed that while filming the 2018 drama ‘Rich Family’s Son’, he experienced the pain of losing his mother, and later, on a chance visit to the United States, he met his wife as if by fate. Recalling, “I saw a halo the moment I saw her,” he proposed 90 days after they met, and they married in 2019.

Afterward, out of respect for his wife’s work, he chose to settle in the United States, which naturally distanced him from activities in Korea. However, he also hinted at a comeback, saying, “If the conditions allow, I would like to work in Korea again at any time.”

Meanwhile, Kim debuted with the film ‘Western Avenue’ and appeared in major series such as ‘Hur Jun’ and ‘Age of Warriors’, leaving a deep impression on viewers. He was particularly nicknamed the ‘Jang Dong-gun of morning dramas’ for his numerous appearances in morning dramas.
