The film ‘Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle’, which set all-time records for admissions and revenue among Japanese animation and sparked a craze last year, has confirmed its SCREEN X release in Korea for the 25th.

‘Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle’ (hereafter Demon Slayer) led the boom in Japanese animation by ranking first last year in opening-day admissions, admissions for Japanese animation, and revenue, based on the Korean Film Council integrated box-office system.

With this support, distributor CJ ENM has confirmed the film's CGV SCREEN X release. SCREEN X, a special format from CGV, extends not only the front screen but also both side walls for three-sided projection, giving viewers an immersive feeling as if they are in the middle of the film.

In the 30-second teaser released alongside the release news, viewers can glimpse a cinematic experience unique to this format. Beginning with an opening where the Infinity Castle unfolds across three sides, the teaser shows main characters Tanjiro, Shinobu, and Muichiro entering the vast castle, followed by an intense battle sequence between Giyu and Akaza.

To commemorate the SCREEN X release, ‘Demon Slayer’ will also hold an on-site giveaway event for fans. Details are available on the official Instagram and the CGV website.
