The rookie idol group TUNEXX(TUNEXX) sends its first signal to the world.

TUNEXX (Dong-gyu, In-hu, Taira, Seong-jun, Zeon, Si-hwan, Arctic) will release its first mini-album ‘SET BY US ONLY’ at 6 p.m. on the 3rd through various online music platforms and make its official debut.

‘SET BY US ONLY’ is a debut album that captures TUNEXX’s free and bold attitude. Dong-gyu, In-hu, Si-hwan, and Arctic, who gained recognition on Mnet ‘Boys Planet 2’, along with new faces Zeon, Taira, and Seong-jun, have infused their determined resolve with highly polished music and performance.

The name TUNEXX combines the signature keyword ‘TUNE’ with the dual-meaning ‘X(Unclassified / Cross)’, conveying a resolve to expand their own territory by crossing boundaries instead of staying within fixed frames. True to the team slogan ‘TUNE IN TO OUR FREQUENCY(TUNE IN TO OUR FREQUENCY)’, TUNEXX plans to align frequencies with fans and craft a differentiated growth narrative.

The title track ‘Proof That I Am Alive’ is an electronic hip-hop track that clearly showcases TUNEXX’s identity. Members Dong-gyu, Zeon, and Si-hwan took part in the lyrics, and with direct and original expressions, they sing a powerful message: ‘Even if we may seem different, we will shout that we are alive in our own way.’ On their debut stage, they herald TUNEXX’s unique energy with a sleek, groovy performance.

The album consists of four tracks across diverse genres: another hip-hop track ‘100%’ with lyrics by Dong-gyu, Zeon, and Si-hwan; ‘Obsessed’, which highlights sensuous vocals and rap; and ‘Twenty Something’, which looks to a leap forward with a band sound.

Armed with confidence and drive, TUNEXX will officially debut at 6 p.m. on the 3rd, and on the same day at 8 p.m., they will unveil their first stage through a fan showcase.
