Yang Hyun-bin (Park Ki-woong) opened up to Gong Joo-ah (Jin Se-yeon) about why he cut off contact during his study-abroad days in Argentina, and with the powerful confession, 'I can't hide my feelings any longer', he shook her heart. In response, Gong Joo-ah canceled her scheduled blind date, sending viewers' excitement levels soaring.
Yang Eun-bin (Yoon Seo-ah)'s unwavering devotion toward Gong Woo-jae (Kim Sun-bin) also shone. She recalled a rainy day from childhood when Gong Woo-jae came to her rescue as she was terrified of earthworms. She laid her heart bare, saying, 'I've liked that kind older guy from the very beginning'.

Yang Dong-ik poured out how he had felt hurt all his life by being compared to Gong Jeong-han, and Yang Seon-chul in turn confessed he had felt lonely because of his son's indifference. Under Yang Hyun-bin's lead, the sight of the father and son apologizing to each other delivered both lighthearted laughs and touching emotion.

Na Seon-hae (Kim Mi-sook) hid the identity of daughter-in-law Lee Hee-kyung (Kim Bo-jung)'s affair partner out of concern for the wounds her son would suffer, but she eventually sat down with Gong Dae-han after he learned the whole truth. Gong Dae-han comforted Na Seon-hae, saying he now fully understands the pain his mother must have felt when his father ran away in the past.
