SBS ‘From Today, I Am Human, However’

Actor In Gyo-jin wrapped up the SBS Friday-Saturday drama ‘From Today, I Am Human, However’ and shared his thoughts on the finale.

In ‘From Today, I Am Human, However’, which concluded on the 28th of last month, In Gyo-jin took on the role of Park Yong-gil, manager of the fourth-division ‘Daeheung Citizens’ club, and with flavorful dialect and crisp everyday acting, he made his presence felt in every appearance. From antagonistic chemistry with Kang Si-yeol (played by Lomon) to bickering comic rapport with the club players, he added vitality to the story, while also battling alone to find sponsors for a club in crisis; though prickly on the surface, he is deeply warm-hearted, and he rendered the character in a multi-dimensional way with his own distinct color, heightening immersion in the drama.

Through his agency Blitzway Entertainment, In Gyo-jin said, “By taking on the role of a soccer manager in this project, I was able to gain uplifting energy from passionate junior colleagues on set” and “Thanks to them, I was able to perform cheerfully and happily throughout the shoot,” revealing deep affection for the actors he worked alongside. He then added, “I sincerely thank the viewers who loved the series, and I will return with another good project next time.”

Known for naturally blending into every character and inspiring trust, In Gyo-jin once again proved his seasoned acting in this project. Faced with the club in crisis, he drew sympathy with a bitter expression, then soon delivered laughs with a sly demeanor, refreshingly lightening the mood, thereby reliably carrying the fun of the piece as he brought the journey to a close.
