‘I Am SOLO’(I Am SOLO) 30th class ‘Egen-nam’ Young-cheol and ‘Teto-nyeo’ Jeong-suk go on a date that swings between hot and cold.
On the 4th (today) at 10:30 p.m., ENA and SBS Plus will air ‘I Am SOLO’, which will show Young-cheol and Jeong-suk enjoying a date at a charcoal kiln sauna.
On this day, thanks to Jeong-suk’s straightforward approach, Young-cheol finally goes on a one-on-one date. Ahead of it, he puts care into tidying up his car from the morning, but once they arrive at the charcoal kiln sauna, he becomes flustered, saying, “I left my mobile phone in the car.” Jeong-suk coolly pays, saying, “It is fine. I will cover (the sauna fee),” while Young-cheol begs with both hands together, “Please, let me pay.” Even so, Jeong-suk says, “It is already too late,” swipes her card, and at the restaurant inside the sauna says, “Since I am buying, may I share my opinion?” before decisively choosing the menu.

Amid a rosy vibe, the two even don the ‘sheep-head’ towel style, the jjimjilbang trademark, to add ‘cutie’. Growing close to Jeong-suk, Young-cheol confides, “Because there are many cameras, I am rambling; (normally) I do not talk this much,” and then suddenly self-roasts by saying, “My nickname is actually not Egen-nam but Egen-nyeo.” He also becomes conscious of the cameras, saying, “As the cameras move around, I keep talking,” before making an offbeat remark: “I am grateful that the (sauna patrons) are not paying attention to us.” Watching this, MC Song Hae-na shouts, “No! I am nervous!” Curiosity mounts over how Young-cheol’s ‘Egen moment’ affected Jeong-suk.
Meanwhile, on the ‘I Am SOLO’ episode that aired on Wednesday, February 25, Nielsen Korea tallied an average rating of 3.5% (combined figure for SBS Plus and ENA among national pay-TV households), and the per-minute peak jumped to 3.96%, proving its ‘irreplaceable’ popularity.
