Actor Park Ji-hoon, who is on the verge of earning the ‘ten-million actor’ title with the film ‘The Man Who Lives With the King (Wangsa-nam)’, is drawing attention as he is being mentioned on a university community.

On the 2nd, on the college student community Everytime, a post reading “Department of Theater and Film Class of 2018, P J H, come back to school” was uploaded and garnered much agreement. The ‘P J H’ written in the post appears to be taken from the initials of Park Ji-hoon’s name.

The post spread across online communities and social media, attracting attention.

Upon seeing this, netizens reacted with comments such as “No, do not return to school; keep doing many projects”, “I cannot believe Park Ji-hoon is Class of 2018”, “Did he also prepare for college entrance exams while he was active with Wanna One”, “Has he not graduated yet”, and “When I was young, I thought there would be seniors like that in college”.

Park Ji-hoon has previously expressed affection for campus life in interviews. In a February 2019 interview with University Today, he said, “The time spent meeting classmates, preparing a project, analyzing characters, and practicing is a small happiness”, and added, “I also enjoy eating pork belly with my classmates at the barbecue place in front of the school”.

Meanwhile, Park Ji-hoon is known to be a Class of 2018 student in the Department of Performing Arts and Film Creation at Chung-Ang University, and he is currently meeting audiences as he plays Danjong in the film ‘The Man Who Lives With the King’.

The film ‘The Man Who Lives With the King’ is set in Cheongnyeongpo in 1457 and portrays a friendship that transcends class between village headman Eom Heung-do (played by Yoo Hae-jin), who volunteers for exile to revive his village, and the young former king Danjong (played by Park Ji-hoon). According to tallies on the 4th from the Korean Film Council integrated computer network, ‘The Man Who Lives With the King’ drew about 194,000 moviegoers the previous day, bringing its cumulative admissions to around 9,407,000 and putting it on the verge of surpassing the ten-million mark.
