Actor Oh So-hyun will appear in ‘Shining’.

On the 4th, King Kong by Starship said, “Actor Oh So-hyun will appear in the new JTBC Friday series ‘Shining’ (written by Lee Suk-yeon, directed by Kim Yoon-jin, produced by SLL•Kakao Entertainment). Please give much interest and support to Oh So-hyun, who will come with another side of herself.”

‘Shining’ is a drama that portrays the process by which youths, who have shared a world of their own, become lights that reflect one another’s trust and the direction of their lives. In it, Oh So-hyun plays the postal delivery worker ‘Jin Hyang-gi’, who has a friendly and bright personality. Riding a scooter, she shows a neat and sociable side, and as a character who receives plenty of love from the village elders, she is set to breathe warm and cozy energy into the story.

Oh So-hyun has steadily presented realistic and three-dimensional roles. In particular, in the Genie TV original ‘Tell Me You Love Me’, she portrayed a cheerful deaf student, and in the JTBC drama ‘The Interest of Love’, she vividly portrayed a bank employee who dreams of changing job categories. In addition, she recently took on her first horror genre with the film ‘Gangnyeong: Ghost Game’, enhancing immersion with a performance that doubles the tension. Expectations are rising for the new side she will show in ‘Shining’.

Meanwhile, the new JTBC Friday series ‘Shining’, featuring Oh So-hyun along with Park Jin-young, Kim Min-ju, Shin Jae-ha, and Park Se-hyun, will air episodes 1 and 2 back-to-back at 8:50 p.m. on the 6th (Fri).
