Actor Shin Jae-ha will appear in the play ‘Lucky Gosiwon’.

Shin Jae-ha has been cast as ‘Na In-gi’ in the play ‘Lucky Gosiwon’, which opens on March 26 at Jiguin Art Hall in Daehangno, Seoul.

Set in an old gosiwon at the foot of Bukhansan, ‘Lucky Gosiwon’ depicts characters who gather with their own failures and wounds as they search for the meanings of ‘luck’ and ‘happiness’. Against the realistic backdrop of a gosiwon in a hillside neighborhood, it captures moments of life that count one’s happiness amid youthful frustration and recovery, love, and small acts of solidarity.

In the play, Shin Jae-ha portrays ‘Na In-gi’, who loses everything to a scam and comes to live at Lucky Gosiwon. An optimist, Na In-gi learns the courage to live on through the people he meets. Carrying wounds yet never losing his brightness, he is expected to showcase Shin Jae-ha’s trademark delicate emotional expression.

Notably, this marks Shin Jae-ha’s first return to the stage in about seven years since appearing in ‘Almost, Maine’ in 2019. Having proven his solid acting through numerous dramas, expectations are high for his transformation that will fill the stage with even greater depth.

Meanwhile, the play ‘Lucky Gosiwon’ featuring Shin Jae-ha will be performed at Jiguin Art Hall in Daehangno, Seoul, from March 26 to April 5.
