Actor Koo Hye-sun received a master degree from KAIST.

On the 4th, Koo Hye-sun posted on her social media the message “Thank you♥” along with photos of her KAIST master degree certificate and the degree conferment ceremony. In the released photos, she is attending the ceremony wearing a mortarboard with a bright expression.

The hair roller ‘KOOROLL’ that Koo Hye-sun personally launched is also drawing attention. KOOROLL features a flat design unlike conventional hair rollers. The product was also selected for the 2025 Excellent Patent Award.

On social media, firsthand user reviews have been posted in succession, and positive reactions continue. However, since it is a patented product, some say its price is somewhat higher than ordinary hair rollers. KOOROLL has a list price of 12,800 won (2-pack), and on the official website, a limited-edition single unit is being sold for 6,400 won.

Meanwhile, Koo Hye-sun enrolled in 2011 in the Department of Film at Sungkyunkwan University, halted her studies due to entertainment activities, and returned in 2020. She then graduated at the top of her class in February 2024 with a GPA of 4.27 out of 4.5. In June of the same year, she was accepted into the KAIST Graduate School of Science Journalism Master of Engineering program and graduated early after about a year and a half.
