U+ Mobile TV X Lifetime drama ‘Lovephobia’

Yeonwoo and Kim Hyun-jin stay by each other’s side despite Jo Yoon-seo’s threatening moves.

Episode 5 of the drama ‘Lovephobia’ (written by Lee Se-ryeong/directed by Wang Hye-ryeong/produced by WEMAD), airing at 11 p.m. on the 5th via Lifetime, depicts Seol Jae-hee (Jo Yoon-seo) nervously watching as the bond between Yoon Bia (Yeonwoo) and Han Sun-ho (Kim Hyun-jin) grows stronger.

In the previous episode, Yoon Bia faced a crisis when her smartwatch broke while she was searching for her mother Yang Seon-ae (Lim Ji-eun), who had gone missing from the nursing home. Because she has a condition that prevents her from being with others for more than an hour, she had no choice but to stay home for several days. Seizing the chance, Seol Jae-hee tried to drive Han Sun-ho out of ‘It’s You’, but on the day the Pomi version 2 prototype demo was unveiled, she stiffened when she saw Yoon Bia arrive on-site holding Han Sun-ho’s hand.

As the battle of nerves between Han Sun-ho and Seol Jae-hee over Yoon Bia kicks into high gear, the stills released on the 4th capture the trio’s razor-sharp conflict, leaving viewers frozen.

In the stills, Yoon Bia, Han Sun-ho, and Seol Jae-hee draw the eye as they create a subtle tension. Yoon Bia still seems uneasy about standing before others without her smartwatch, yet she finds courage by relying on Han Sun-ho at her side. While Han Sun-ho turns into her bodyguard, gripping her hand and staying close, Seol Jae-hee watches them with a bewildered expression, adding intrigue to what comes next.

A serious crack is detected in the long-standing friendship between Yoon Bia and Seol Jae-hee. Although Yoon Bia had placed deep trust in Seol Jae-hee, who, back in high school, brought her out into the world when she had closed off her heart, an unprecedented chill hangs between them this time for reasons unknown. Attention is focused on what decisive trigger caused the once-close pair to freeze over so quickly, and how this shift in their relationship will alter the course of the story.
